For this year’s Thursday Nightcap, the focus is fully on Denver’s burgeoning house music scene. First at bat is Lone Dancer. With influences reaching from R&B and Funk to experimental electronic music, Lone Dancer’s DJ sets hone in on stripped dance tracks that have a raw, basement aesthetic while maintaining a soulful vibe. Roger That — head of the up-and-coming house imprint The Playground — will close out the night with one of his signature DJ sets. Roger That has become a staple on the Denver circuit, packing dance floors with his deep crates and masterful skills behind the decks.
